RCVS & European Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging

Fraser McConnell                                              qualified from Edinburgh University in 1993, then spent the next five years working in a mixed practice in Suffolk where he developed a particular interest in diagnostic imaging. He obtained the RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Radiology in 1998 and moved to Cambridge where he studied at the Cambridge Veterinary School for 18 months obtaining the RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Medicine in 1999 and the RCVS Diploma in Veterinary Radiology in 2000.From 2001 to 2006 he worked as a clinical radiologist at the Animal Health Trust and gained his diploma from the ECVDI in 2003. During this time Fraser gained extensive experience in small animal MRI. Fraser joined Liverpool University as senior lecturer in veterinary diagnostic imaging in November 2006. In 2019 Fraser was awarded Fellowship of the RCVS. His clinical and research interests include all aspects of small animal MRI and cerebrovascular disease.

Andrew Holloway Cert SAM DVDI DipECVDI MRCVS

Andrew Holloway     graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1992.    After spending 8 years in small animal practice he joined the University of Cambridge in 2000, first as a visiting resident in radiology and then between 2003-2006 as clinical radiologist.    In October 2006 he joined the Animal Health Trust where he is presently employed as senior clinical radiologist.  Andrew obtained the RCVS certificates in radiology (1998) and small medicine (2002) whilst in general small animal practice. He gained his RCVS Diploma in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging in 2004 and the European Diploma in Veterinary Diagnostic imaging in 2007.His interests include MRI and all aspects of general ultrasonography with a particular interest in contrast ultrasonography.
